an experience few people miss when coming to
Cairns.

one-way journey with 20 minutes spent at
each station. CSIRO Interpretative Centre at
Barron Falls Station will enable you to
discover more about he plants and animals of
this tropical region. Gondolas depart
continually from all stations from 8:30am
until 4:00pm.
Few visitors leave Cairns without having
experienced Skyrail and since opening,
Skyrail has received numerous awards,
including being voted Australia's best major
tourist attraction at the Australian Tourism
Awards, and for three years at the
Queensland Tourism Awards.
Skyrail is suitable for all ages, and each
gondola seats up to 6 people, including
infants. Skyrail can carry most standard
type wheelchairs. A Skyrail cableway
operator assists passengers on and off the
cableway at every station. |
