Located opposite main railway station where we arrived from The Spirit of Queenslander and also 5 minutes from major shopping centre. We took a taxi the next morning from here to the Cruise Terminal for a minimum cost.

“Recently my wife and I had two opportunities to stay at Cairns Mid City Luxury Suites. We travelled to Cairns by train, so the location of this accommodation was excellent for us. It was within walking distance of the train (less than 5 minutes).
The location of the Luxury Suites is amazing. It is close to everything a traveller needs, shopping, eateries, hotels, and Cairns’ attractions. The rooms are fully self contained. Everything you would need for your stay is provided. The rooms are well appointed, clean and quiet. Just the thing for a good nights rest after a big day exploring and enjoying the sights. The staff go out of their way to assist you in every way to ensure you have a wonderful stay.”

I’m really impressed with the management here. They knew me by name although I’ve never been here before and helped me bring my luggage up and down the stairs. The space was in a good location near the local Rusty’s market, several good restaurants and shops. The apartment was spacious with a big kitchen, balcony and living room. Will stay here again.

Spent one night here transiting between Green Island and Brisbane. Is everything you could ask for cheap accommodation. Rooms are clean and come with everything you could need for any length of stay. There is a kitchenette and washer and dryer in room. Because of the weather I couldn’t get to the pool, but I assume it would be ok. The managers were both very friendly and very helpful. I can heartily say I would stay here again.

Stayed 7 days in a one bedroom suite. Very clean and comfortable. Managers are excellent, very helpful and friendly. Suite was large with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and sitting area. A lovely, comfortable queen size bed, a must for a good nights sleep, also a very quiet property. The location is excellent with Cairns Central Shopping Centre right opposite. Under cover secure parking is handy. There is a lovely swimming pool and BBQ area. No restaurant in the property but within walking distance is many eating outlets. In the Centre is a cafe, great for breakfast and a food hall. Within 250 metres is about 20 restaurants so getting something to eat is not a problem. It’s also an easy walk to the Esplanade and the Cairns swimming pool. All in all, a excellent place to stay in Cairns and highly recommended. Oh, and free wifi.

“Stayed four nights last week at Mid City Luxury Suites and it was excellent. The owners, Sandra and Shaun are very pleasant and most helpful. The location is absolutely perfect being just across the road from Cairns Central which is a huge shopping centre. It is only a 10 minute stroll away from the Esplanade. The apartment was roomy, comfortable and not noisy. Free Wi Fi also available. Try and obtain the bottom floor if you can’t handle a couple of flights of stairs. All in all I would have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Mid City to anyone desirous of good clean accommodation in a very central location.”

Stayed overnight for a business meeting the following morning. Friendly manager – easy check-in. The unit was clean, spacious, very comfy and more than well appointed. Would suit a longer stay in Cairns – with separate bedroom, kitchen and laundry facilities. Great location – walking distance to shops and restaurants. Secure parking and access was a selling point for me. Will definitely make a return visit if needing accommodation in Cairns in future.

Rest pace to stay, close to bus and train services, opposite to city centre shopping centre, which had very thing one needed including supermarket. One block from fruit and vegetable market, and only a short stroll from the famous Esplanade where there is an abundance of great restaurants and a night market

We stayed for 10 nights in June and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Shane and Sandra have only just taken over as Managers and are doing a great job. Lots of little things being fixed and they have a great attitude to customer service. The location is excellent with Cairns Central shopping, Cairns Railway station and the busses right across the road. Would definitely stay again.

The location is very handy, close to the mall and other amenities like railway station and only 15 minute drive from the airport. The staff, especially Charlie (the manager) are very warm and friendly.

Welcomed by friendly staff who couldn’t be more helpful once we discovered our camper van would not fit in the undercover parking, problem solved then we entered our room to find an absolute gem!! All the facilities you could possibly need to enjoy your stay for a night or a month!! We relaxed on the balcony with a refreshing drink overlooking the passers by and with Cairns Central straight across the street this is a shoppers delight. Our room was clean, well maintained and secure. I highly recommend Mid City and we will definately be staying again!!

When staying in Cairns I normally book on the Esplanade however on this occasion Cairns was heavily booked. Booked this establishment for 2 nights and was pleasantly surprised. Excellent sized one bedroom apartment, in good condition and very suitable for those wanting access to a full-kitchen. Off street parking, conveniently located across from Cairns Central and very helpful front-of-house staff. Will use this venue again, it is only a short 5-10 minute walk to the Esplanade but is away from the noise and crowds.

We have stayed 4 weeks in Mid City-Cairns. We have really felt at home, cause the owners who are running their own business are a lovely, friendly and supportive couple. Cleanness of the hotel makes you feel relaxed and refreshed every single day. Service was perfect, knowing that the hotel has a security main door which makes you feel safe at night. Moreover, the number of apartments is 19 as far as I can remember, which makes it a nice and calm at night to enjoy a good sleep. The most which I like about the location is that the hotel is straight opposite the central shopping complex with major retailers and food stores very close and handy. Rooms spacious and equipped with all what you need. We will definitely go again to Cairns and we will stay in this hotel.

Just stayed here one night after a late arrival from Guam. Although I arrived about midnight it was simple to access my apartment via an intercom next to the front door. The apartment seemed very well set up, wonderfully clean and would be a great base for a Cairns holiday. It’s located immediately opposite Myers, is very close to some great markets and about 5 blocks from the water. If you like apartments located right in the centre then this would be a perfect base. My apartment was on the second floor and there was no lift, so this might be an issue for those not so mobile. It included everything you could want for cooking and also had a washer and dryer. There was also a nice balcony – though the view was of the street. Undercover secure parking was also provided. The manager seemed very friendly and helpful.
